Hendry Sheriff Sings In The Park



Whidden Sings For The Community at Park Fun Day

LABELLE, FL. -- Hendry County Sheriff Steve Whidden and members of the Sheriff's Community Policing Unit hosted a community fun day, Saturday, March 19 at the LaBelle Civic Park on Jaycee Lions Drive in LaBelle.

There was free food and live entertainment with Sheriff Whidden and the Florida Cracker Boys Band, Nashville Recording Artist Chris MacArthur, and local singer Carolyn Ford.

Joining the band was Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Cameron playing drums. Monroe County Sheriff Robert Peryam joined in the festivities as a spectator in the audience. Hendry Sheriff's Deputy Bonnie Weaver volunteered her time to give pony rides to the kids.

Sport activities planned for the day included soccer, basketball and volley ball as well as pony rides for the kids.

    it's going to be ok, we have a new gay nudist campground coming to town, vitambi springs. we can all get jobs there!!
