Glades Celebrates Memorial Day At Ortona
MOORE HAVEN, FL. -- Residents of one of Florida's smallest counties celebrate Memorial Day 2012 at the Ortona Cemetery in rural Glades country, Florida.
The American Legion Farris H. Davis Post 299 in Moore Haven yearly sponsors the Memorial Day morning ceremony with an invocation by a local pastor, after which the Glades Sheriff's Honor Guard raises the flag.
Singing of the Star Spangled Banner follows a short presentation.
