Southwest Clewiston Hit By Burglaries


Shooting, Drugs And Burglaries Top Week's News
CLEWISTON, FL. -- Clewiston Police Chief Gutshall says several reports of vehicle burglary have come in this week. To this point, all have been confined to a small area within the Southwest area of town.

Clewiston Police Officers arrested a suspect for involvement in a shooting which occurred last week. No one was injured in the initial incident.

The Chief said Patrol Officers made a very good drug arrest over the weekend. About a third of a pound of marijuana, and a vehicle were confiscated.

Clewiston Animal Control is spending some extra time in the Northwest section of town. The city has received complaints of an increase of animals at large over there.
