Evaluation Of Drivers Showing Signs Of Alcohol Or Drug Impairment
Officers involved in the Saturation Patrol will be looking for signs of impaired driving and other traffic violations. Motorists who show signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment will be evaluated and appropriate enforcement action will be taken.
The purpose of this program is to place additional officers in and around the Hendry County area with the goal of detecting and deterring impaired driving.
These “saturation” patrols are an enhancement to the daily commitment to remove impaired drivers from our roadways with the ultimate of reducing crashes, injuries and fatalities.
