Could Florida's Lottery Be Fixed?

State Lotteries Investigated For Possible Fraud
After a security director for the Multi-State Lottery Lottery Association was convicted of fixing Iowa lottery jackpots, more states are investigating to see if Ed Tipton or his associates were involved in fixing other state lottery jackpots.

As reported by the Associated Press, lotteries in four states were allegedly victims of tampering of software code to allow insiders to know the winning numbers. Because the alleged mastermind worked for the Multi-State Lottery Association that administers games available for use by 37 states, it is feared other state lotteries may have been victims to fraud over the last several years.

The Multi-State Lottery Association is a non-profit, government-benefit association owned and operated by its member lotteries. Each MUSL member offers one or more of the games administered by MUSL including Powerball®, Mega Millions®, Hot Lotto®, Wildcard®, 2 by 2®. MegaHits, and All or Nothing.

All profits are retained by the individual state lotteries and are used to fund projects approved by the legislature authorizing each lottery. 37 states are members, including the Florida Lottery.

That's sad & not fair or legal, that Eddie Tipton, family & colleges conspired to commit such fraud/crimes. Defrauding loyal players in five states & nation. Our constitution was amended to legalize government lotteries for a good cause ,But some greedy people decided to use this to their advantage committing crime. Us lotteries needs to get united & firm to detect , eradicate, stop & prosecute all illegal activities that negatively impact our nation. This crimes have been overlooked by lack of concerns & scrutiny. State lottery laws demand, no lottery ticket can be redeemed if stolen or fraudulent. All states should follow (Statutes) It is the law. Specially Florida Lottery.
