South Florida Wildlife Areas Closed For Weather

SOUTH BAY, Fl. -- Due to anticipated storm events, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has temporarily closed all activities and roads in the J.W. Corbett and Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Areas, and the John C. and Mariana Jones/Hungryland and DuPuis Wildlife and Environmental Areas until further notice. 

All listed areas are closed to access, effective Oct. 5, at 12:00 a.m.

The closure applies to all vehicles and public access, and will remain in effect until further notice to ensure public safety and resource conservation during this extreme weather event.
