Robert Cram, 55 of Hendry county died in an ATV crash Sunday at 5:22 pm in Montura in rural Hendry county.
FHP investigators responded to a single vehicle, single occupant traffic crash resulting in one confirmed fatality in Hendry County. A four-wheeled ATV was traveling west on the south grass shoulder of Montura Avenue approaching the intersection of South Coral Street at moderate-to-
high speed.
The ATV ramped up a shallow grade approaching the cross street, became airborne, then overturned onto the roadway, arriving at final rest west of South Coral Street and south of Montura Avenue.
The operator of the ATV was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries received from this crash. Anybody with information about this crash is asked to contact FHP.
